Watch Mystery Movies - Get Thrilled By The Suspense

Mystery movies have always been loved and discussed by the movie going audiences to the max. These movies are the suspense thrillers that are often based on a story which is twisted enough to keep you at the edge of your seats. Their ability to hold you spell bound on tenterhooks is what makes them stand out. These movies can make you bite your nails or grab your pillow tight if you are enjoying them at home. This is why mystery movies are so high on demand and have huge fan following.
Watching mystery movies is also good for your health as they let you exercise your brain cells which are not used in one's daily life. As the story moves along the movie, you work on it as a detective and think about all the possibilities by considering the facts being mentioned. This gives you a chance to live the life of an investigator in an imaginative world which is created by the film makers. Moreover, you can discuss it with your friends and mates and make some guesses. The sense of achievement when your guess comes out to be right is priceless.

Some people argue that these movies can be too stressful, but according to the scientific studies there is no such negative effect. Rather it has been proved that the stress being experienced while watching such movies rather leads to satisfaction which is far more productive and useful. It can be easily understood by considering the well known law by Newton which states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

In history, mysterious movies started off as silent ones and later some good releases were made in 1920s and 1950s which are still remembered as many remakes have been made on them. These movies laid the foundation of suspense movies, on which today's movies are ramped up. One of the well known silent movies is "The Lodger" which was made by Alfred Hitchcock who later became a renowned director. This movie was based on a mass murderer and this concept got very popular among mystery movies. However, ‘Alfreds' perfection and mastery with suspenseful thrillers is still unmatchable.

Many mysterious horror movies got popular in 1930s when people were confronting financial horror in their real lives. The characters depicted in these movies are still popular and are hard to be forgotten by anyone who has watched these movies. Frankenstein, Dracula or the Wolfman have even become the favourite dress-ups for the Halloween. Many more TV episodes have been made which were based on these concepts and even today we have serials like "Vampire Diaires" which feature the story of blood sucking vampires. Even among the recent movies, the twilight series is getting more and more popular as the new releases involve better techniques and special effects. If you intend to watch mystery movies, you can start off with M., The Cat and the Canary, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
